It's done! We are incredibly grateful and overwhelmed by your support – it's truly amazing! Over the past few months, you've shown us that a food outlet store in Berlin with a delivery service for rescued food is essential. You've given us so much courage during this time and strengthened our mission – which we are now actually realizing thanks to your support!
Over 1,700 people have supported us and pre-ordered 1,300 rescue boxes! Fantastic!
In total, €92,731 has been raised, and in the last two days alone we have gained hundreds of new supporters, almost doubling our initial funding goal of €50,000!
Now it's time to really step on the gas and make sure the store opens soon, we can rescue lots of food for you, bring it back into circulation, and you receive your perks or 'thank you gifts'. As mentioned in a previous newsletter, the delivery of the thank you gifts will be slightly delayed, which is actually quite convenient since most people will be back from their summer holidays in September – and of course, we want to fulfill all orders. As mentioned, we'll start with those who live in Berlin and were the first to order.
We are very grateful for your trust and look forward to having even more energy and time for the implementation of the store, warehouse, delivery, etc.
Even after the crowdfunding campaign, you can continue to support us and actively participate in the development and implementation of the first food outlet store with delivery service in Berlin! Either through an internship or volunteer work.
We are also looking for motivated people for the following positions : Branch Manager (m/f) , Assistant to the Branch Manager (m/f) , Warehouse Manager (m/f) and Local Transport Driver (m/f) .
