6. Cookies and other technologies
6.1 General Information
To make your visit to our website more attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use various technologies, including so-called cookies, on different pages. Cookies are small text files that are automatically stored on your device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of your browser session, i.e., after you close your browser (session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies).
We use technologies that are essential for the use of certain functions of our website (e.g., the shopping cart function). These technologies collect and process your IP address, the time of your visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website (e.g., information about the contents of your shopping cart). This processing is based on our overriding legitimate interests in optimizing the presentation of our offerings, in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
Furthermore, we use technologies to fulfill our legal obligations (e.g., to be able to demonstrate consent to the processing of your personal data) as well as for web analytics and online marketing. You can find more information about this, including the respective legal basis for data processing, in the following sections of this privacy policy. We may also use technologies that are not individually listed in this privacy policy. You can find more detailed information about these technologies, including the respective legal basis for data processing, on the Usercentrics platform. You can access it via this link: https://sirplus.de/#uc-corner-modal-show.
You can find the cookie settings for your browser at the following links: Microsoft Edge™ / Safari™ / Chrome™ / Firefox™ / Opera™
If you have consented to the use of these technologies in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, you can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us using the contact details provided in the privacy policy. 6.2 Use of the Usercentrics Consent Management Platform for managing consents
On our website, we use the Usercentrics Consent Management Platform (“Usercentrics”) to inform you about the cookies and other technologies we use on our website, and to obtain, manage, and document your legally required consent to the processing of your personal data by these technologies. This is necessary in accordance with Article 6(1)(c) GDPR to fulfill our legal obligation under Article 7(1) GDPR to be able to demonstrate your consent to the processing of your personal data. Usercentrics is a service provided by Usercentrics GmbH, Rosental 4, 80331 Munich, Germany, which processes your data on our behalf. When you visit our website, the Usercentrics web server stores a server log file, which also contains your anonymized IP address, the date and time of your visit, device and browser information, and information about your consent behavior. Your data will be deleted after three years unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR or we reserve the right to further data use that is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this declaration.
7. Use of cookies and other technologies for web analytics and advertising purposes
If you have given your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR, we use the following cookies and other third-party technologies on our website. The data collected in this context will be deleted once the purpose for which it was collected has ceased and we have discontinued using the respective technology. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. Further information on your options for withdrawing your consent can be found in the section "Cookies and other technologies". Further information, including the basis of our cooperation with the individual providers, can be found under the respective technologies. If you have any questions about the providers and the basis of our cooperation with them, please contact us using the contact details provided in this privacy policy.
7.1 Use of Google services
We use the following technologies from Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). The information about your use of our website that is automatically collected by Google technologies is generally transmitted to and stored on a server of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The European Commission has not issued an adequacy decision for the USA. Our cooperation with them is based on standard contractual clauses for data protection issued by the European Commission. If your IP address is collected via Google technologies, it is shortened before being stored on Google's servers by activating IP anonymization. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server and shortened there. Unless otherwise stated for the individual technologies, data processing is based on a joint controllership agreement pursuant to Article 26 GDPR. You can find further information about data processing by Google in Google's privacy policy .
Google Analytics
For website analysis purposes, Google Analytics automatically collects and stores data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website), from which user profiles are created using pseudonyms. Cookies may be used for this purpose. Your IP address is generally not combined with other Google data. Data processing is based on a data processing agreement with Google.
For the purpose of optimizing the marketing of our website, we have activated the data sharing settings for "Google products and services." This allows Google to access the data collected and processed by Google Analytics and subsequently use it to improve Google services. The data sharing with Google under these settings is based on an additional agreement between data controllers. We have no control over Google's subsequent data processing.
We also use the Google Analytics extension function Google Optimize to create and conduct tests.
For web analytics, Google Analytics uses the Google Signals extension, which enables so-called "cross-device tracking." If your internet-enabled devices are linked to your Google account and you have activated the "personalized advertising" setting in your Google account, Google can generate reports about your usage behavior (especially cross-device user numbers), even if you switch devices. We do not process any personal data in this context; we only receive statistics generated by Google Signals.
For web analytics and advertising purposes, the DoubleClick cookie, an extension of Google Analytics, enables your browser to be recognized when you visit other websites. Google will use this information to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website usage.
Google AdSense
Our website uses Google AdSense to market advertising space for third-party providers. These ads are displayed to you at various locations on this website. The so-called DoubleClick cookie enables the display of interest-based advertising by collecting and processing data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website) and automatically assigning a pseudonymous UserID, which helps determine your interests based on visits to this and other websites.
Google Ads
For advertising purposes in Google search results and on third-party websites, a so-called Google Remarketing cookie is set when you visit our website. This cookie automatically enables interest-based advertising by collecting and processing data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website) and using a pseudonymous cookie ID based on the pages you have visited. Further data processing only takes place if you have activated the "personalized advertising" setting in your Google account. If you are logged into Google during your visit to our website, Google uses your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target audience lists for cross-device remarketing.
For website analysis and event tracking, we use Google Ads Conversion Tracking to measure your subsequent user behavior after you have reached our website via a Google Ads advertisement. Cookies may be used for this purpose, and data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information about your use of our website based on events we define, such as visiting a page or subscribing to a newsletter) may be collected. This data is then used to create pseudonymous user profiles.
Google Maps
For the visual display of geographical information, Google Maps collects data about your use of the map functions, in particular your IP address and location data, transmits this data to Google, and Google then processes it. We have no influence on this subsequent data processing.
Google reCAPTCHA
To protect our web forms from misuse and spam by automated software (bots), Google reCAPTCHA collects data (IP address, time of visit, browser information, and information about your use of our website) and analyzes your website usage using JavaScript and cookies. Other cookies stored in your browser by Google services are also evaluated. No personal data from the input fields of the respective form is read or stored.
Google Fonts
To ensure consistent display of content on our website, the script code "Google Fonts" collects data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information), transmits it to Google, and Google then processes it. We have no control over this subsequent data processing.
YouTube Video Plugin
To integrate third-party content, data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information) is collected via the YouTube video plugin in the extended privacy mode we use, transmitted to Google and subsequently processed by Google, only if you play a video.
7.2 Use of Facebook services
Use of Facebook Pixel
We use the Facebook Pixel as part of the technologies of Facebook Ireland Ltd. , 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook") described below. The Facebook Pixel automatically collects and stores data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website based on events we define, such as visiting a page or subscribing to a newsletter) from which user profiles are created using pseudonyms. As part of the so-called extended matching process, additional hashed information is collected and stored for matching purposes, which can be used to identify individuals (e.g., names, email addresses, and telephone numbers). For this purpose, the Facebook Pixel automatically sets a cookie when you visit our website, which automatically enables the recognition of your browser when you visit other websites using a pseudonymous cookie ID. Facebook will combine this information with other data from your Facebook account and use it to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website usage, in particular personalized and group-based advertising.
The information about your use of our website that is automatically collected by Facebook technologies is generally transmitted to and stored on a server of Facebook, Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA. The European Commission has not issued an adequacy decision for the USA. Insofar as the data transfer to the USA falls under our responsibility, our cooperation is based on standard data protection clauses issued by the European Commission. Further information about data processing by Facebook can be found in Facebook 's privacy policy.
Facebook Analytics
Facebook Analytics uses data collected via the Facebook Pixel to generate statistics on visitor activity on our website. This data processing is based on a data processing agreement with Facebook. The analysis of this data serves to optimize the presentation and marketing of our website.
Facebook Ads
We advertise this website on Facebook and other platforms using Facebook Ads. We determine the parameters of each advertising campaign. Facebook is responsible for the precise implementation, in particular the decision regarding the placement of ads for individual users. Unless otherwise stated for the specific technologies, data processing is based on an agreement between joint controllers pursuant to Article 26 GDPR. This joint controllership is limited to the collection of data and its transmission to Facebook Ireland. Subsequent data processing by Facebook Ireland is not covered by this agreement.
Based on statistics about visitor activity on our website generated via Facebook Pixel, we run group-based advertising on Facebook using Facebook Custom Audiences by defining the characteristics of the respective target group. Facebook acts as our data processor within the framework of the extended data matching process used to determine the respective target group.
Based on the pseudonymous cookie ID set by the Facebook Pixel and the data collected about your usage behavior on our website, we operate personalized advertising via Facebook Pixel Remarketing .
We use Facebook Pixel conversions for web analytics and event tracking to measure your subsequent user behavior after you have reached our website via a Facebook Ads advertisement. This data processing is based on a data processing agreement with Facebook.
7.3 Conjured Referral Marketing
We use Conjured Referrals, a referral marketing service. We use Conjured Referrals for what is known as referral marketing/friendship acquisition.
Conjured Referrals offers a solution that allows our customers to recommend our products to their friends. If a friend is successfully referred as a new customer, both receive a reward. For this purpose, the customer can enter their first name and email address in the corresponding form on the landing page. This data, along with the customer's IP address, is transmitted to and processed by Conjured Referrals. Conjured then generates a link that can be shared with friends to recommend our products. If the friend clicks on this link, their first name, email address, and IP address are processed by Conjured Referrals to track which customer referred the friend. Conjured Referrals processes this data only for these purposes, on our behalf, and according to our instructions. The data will never be shared with third parties unless required by law. Conjured Referrals also uses cookies, which are text files stored in your web browser's cache on your device. Further information about cookies and how to disable them can be found at www.allaboutcookies.org . Log files track actions on the website and collect data such as IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, and date and time stamps. Web beacons, tags, and pixels are electronic files that record information about how you browse the website.
Our cooperation is based on standard data protection clauses of the European Commission. You can withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. Please note that in this case, you will not be able to receive any rewards as described above. You can object to the collection and transfer of personal data or prevent the processing of this data by disabling JavaScript in your browser. Stored data will be retained by Conjured Referrals during your use of the app until you request its deletion. If you uninstall the Conjured Referrals app, all stored personal data will be deleted after 48 hours. Further information on data protection and data usage by Conjured Referrals can be found on the following Conjured Referrals website: www.conjured.co/referrals-privacy .

Cookies may be used for this purpose. The pseudonymized user profiles will not be merged with personal data about the holder of the pseudonym without separately granted, explicit consent. Hotjar acts on our behalf.
Using ADCELL for web analytics
This website uses tracking cookies from Firstlead GmbH, operating under the brand name ADCELL (www.adcell.de). A cookie is set as soon as a visitor clicks on an advertisement containing a partner link. Firstlead GmbH / ADCELL uses cookies to track the origin of orders. Firstlead GmbH / ADCELL also uses tracking pixels. These allow for the analysis of information such as visitor traffic on the pages. The information generated by cookies and tracking pixels regarding the use of this website (including the IP address) and the delivery of advertising formats is transmitted to and stored on a server of Firstlead GmbH / ADCELL. Firstlead GmbH / ADCELL may, under certain circumstances, share this (anonymized) information with contractual partners; however, data such as the IP address is not combined with other stored data.
8. Integration of the Trusted Shop Trustbadge
To display our Trusted Shops seal of approval and any collected reviews, as well as to offer Trusted Shops products to buyers after an order, the Trusted Shops Trustbadge is integrated on this website.

An adequate level of data protection is ensured. You can find further information on data protection at Trusted Shops GmbH here .
When the Trustbadge is accessed, the web server automatically saves a server log file containing your IP address, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, and the requesting provider (access data), thus documenting the access. Individual access data is stored in a security database for the analysis of security incidents. The log files are automatically deleted no later than 90 days after creation.

The contractual agreement between you and Trusted Shops applies. For this purpose, personal data is automatically collected from the order data. Whether you, as the buyer, are already registered to use a product is automatically checked using a neutral parameter: your email address hashed via a cryptographic one-way function. Before transmission, the email address is converted into this hash value, which is undecipherable for Trusted Shops. After checking for a match, the parameter is automatically deleted.
This is necessary for the fulfillment of our and Trusted Shops' overriding legitimate interests in providing buyer protection and transactional review services linked to the specific order, in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. Further details, including information on how to object, can be found in the Trusted Shops privacy policy linked above and in the Trustbadge.

Right to object To the extent that we process personal data as explained above to protect our overriding legitimate interests within the framework of a balancing of interests, you may object to this processing with effect for the future. If the processing is for direct marketing purposes, you may exercise this right at any time as described above. If the processing is for other purposes, you only have a right to object if there are grounds relating to your particular situation. After you exercise your right to object, we will no longer process your personal data for these purposes unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims. This does not apply if the processing is for direct marketing purposes. In that case, we will no longer process your personal data for this purpose. |
