The climate strike is coming soon! Mark March 19, 2021 in your calendar!

The coronavirus pandemic has shown that our behavior has an impact! And what an impact it is: Due to less travel and lower economic output, we consumed 8.8% less CO2 in the first six months of 2020 than in the same period in 2019! (Source: PIK Potsdam )

The big BUT: You may have already guessed it... This development won't have a lasting effect. Furthermore, we naturally want to experience sustainable and humane change without a terrible pandemic.

Fridays For Future says, “If we don’t act now, our future and present will be catastrophic,” and we couldn’t have put it better ourselves.

To advocate for sustainable and fair measures, we will be participating in the global climate strike on March 19, 2021.

We'll keep you updated on how you can join the strike online and in your city! You can find more information here:

Are you wondering what climate change and food waste have to do with each other?

With a consumption of 3.3 billion tons each year, food waste is “the country” with the third largest CO2 footprint .

If just one kilogram of rice were to end up in the trash, the following resources would be wasted. Just wow, right?

We don't yet know what this climate strike will look like, but the last one was corona-compliant and we enjoyed it very much!
