The Rise Foundation eV is a non-profit association founded in 2018 in Berlin that supports people who are homeless or affected by poverty.
The charity helps people improve their situation not only with food, hygiene products, and clothing, but also with human connection and, above all, time! Time to attend to those in need, to learn their stories, and to find solutions to their problems. Time to address not only physical but also emotional needs. People receive information on how to obtain regular meals, medical care, and shelter, and how to access assistance from local and state authorities. The Rise Foundation's outreach program takes place every two weeks. Among other things, homemade meals and hygiene kits containing toothbrushes, tampons, and underwear are distributed.

At our Rettermarkt Neukölln, you have the opportunity to donate vegan food or hygiene products to the Rise Foundation and contribute to making homeless people feel respected members of our society through their great work.
And here's how it works:
Simply pay for your purchases at the checkout and place them in the green donation basket. There you'll also find a list of products the Rise Foundation needs. These include items like pasta, rice, and muesli, as well as shampoo, soap, and other hygiene products. If you like, you can add a small heart to the larger basket to show your appreciation for this worthy cause.
How else can you help?
There are numerous ways to get involved with the Rise Foundation. The organization is always looking for volunteers to help prepare meals at its workshops and to organize events.
