There's always something to celebrate at SIRPLUS. This time, two occasions coincided: the opening of our new rescue market in Berlin-Neukölln and your incredible support during our crowdfunding campaign . Just two days before the official end of the funding period, we were proud to announce: GOAL REACHED – we've surpassed the magical €75,000 mark! This brings our mission a giant step closer: to expand SIRPLUS throughout Germany using a franchise concept and make food rescue possible for you in many more cities. 
With such a vision for the future, the brand-new SIRPLUS rescue market at Karl-Marx-Allee 108 provided the perfect location to celebrate this important milestone on the path to even greater appreciation of food. Since April of this year, in the former FoodOutlet24 premises at Karl-Marx-Straße 108, you can buy not only rescued food – including fresh fruit and vegetables daily – but also many of our non-food products: from plastic-free Soulbottles reusable water bottles to recycled toilet paper, to complement and complete a sustainable lifestyle. Just in time for the opening party, the brand-new shop window was also unveiled, making our third rescue market a real eye-catcher from the outside and sparking curiosity about food rescue among Berliners who are not yet familiar with us and our concept. 
Together with invited guests from the press, such as Marcus and Anna from Viertel Vor , our wonderful partners like Edamama Foods and i+m Naturkosmetik , and bloggers like the lovely Laura from THE OGNC, we spent the evening in the beautifully decorated rescue market with good music, rescued drinks, and culinary highlights. Our catering partner, Ulrich Beier, prepared a hummus bowl and Gorgonzola pasta—entirely from rescued SIRPLUS products.
