Vegatine is Agava's plant-based gelatin substitute. The flavorless blend of agar-agar and arrowroot ensures a firm, sliceable consistency.
6 g of Vegatine will gel 500 ml of liquid.
Use :
1. Mix 6 g of Vegatine with 100 ml of liquid until smooth.
2. Pour the remaining liquid into a pot and bring to a boil.
3. Add the prepared liquid and simmer gently for 2 minutes while stirring. Then refrigerate for 3 hours.
Tip: 1 g of Vegatine replaces 1 sheet of gelatin.
