Here's what's happened since the online shop relaunched exactly one year ago!
After I had to file for insolvency of SIRPLUS GmbH on January 8, 2024, and nobody SIRPLUS The restart, which was intended to save the project, only succeeded six weeks after SIRPLUS.de It stopped accepting orders at the end of March 2024.
Even though we were able to save the social media accounts and the brand, it hurt not to be able to reach thousands of subscribers by email anymore – and not to be able to save 150,000 email addresses.
You can't imagine how busy everyone is. Because even though most of our customers really have their hearts in the right place, want to "save" the world, and are happy to save up to 90% in the process – we live in a super hectic time full of sensory overload, and it's true: out of sight, out of mind ;-(
Despite this, we have already gained almost 10,000 new customers for Zero Waste for Zero Hunger at SIRPLUS 2.0 💚
Instead of 130 people like at the peak times of SIRPLUS with 7 stores, we have remained a small, select team since the restart on May 13, 2025.

First and foremost, my dear brother Benedict Fellmer , Raul Kristen , Deana Bader and Irina Lyashenko .
A heartfelt thank you also to our wonderful partner companies such as Tony's Chocolonely DAVERT , Biovegan GmbH , Pukka Herbs , Berief Food GmbH , Local heritage , Campo Verde GmbH , Thomas Henry GmbH , TerraSana positive eating – and over 130 more, with whom we've saved almost 1 million products since the restart! 🙌
With over 17,000 orders, we were able to deliver more than 35,000 meals to Mary's Meals Germany eV donate – and together with Holle baby food AG even donating over 500,000 meals in a major rescue operation in Ukraine 🍽️
In addition to saving millions of kilograms of greenhouse gases, we have raised awareness of the issue among millions of people through viral content.
Because every minute, a truckload of food is still wasted – 18 million tons per year in Germany alone!
